Lock Down Cocktails
In these strange times, we thought you’d like a little bit of cheering up. Here are some “Lock Down Cocktail Recipes” with which to while away your evenings. Chocolate Indulgence
You will need:
50ml of Sky Wave London Dry Gin
30ml of Baileys Irish Cream
15g of dark (70% cocoa) chocolate
Method:
1. Measure the gin into a small bowl. Melt the chocolate and scoop into the gin, whisking until blended well.
2. Add the Baileys.
3. Pour the mixture into a cocktail shaker with crushed ice. Shake vigorously for 12-15 seconds.
4. Strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a raspberry or twist of lemon.
The Easter Bunny
You will need:
45ml of Sky Wave Raspberry and Rhubarb Gin
30ml of lemon juice (fresh is best, use a little more if using a juicer)
15ml simple sugar syrup (such as Fruiss)
Chocolate powder or cocoa powder
Method:
1. Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
2. Add the gin, lemon juice and sugar syrup. Shake vigorously for 12-15 seconds.
3. Strain into a martini glass.
4. Sprinkle a small amount of chocolate powder on the top.
5. Serve with a small helping of mini eggs.
