Sky Wave’s exquisite range of gins in its new British designed and manufactured bottle has scooped a fabulous international award at the World Gin Awards 2024.

Co-founder Rachel Hicks says, “Our seven gins and one non-alcoholic distilled spirit, were named the best looking gin range in the world – or more formally, The Best Range Design.

If you know our new bottle, which we launched in November last year, you’ll know that it is truly a thing of beauty. It was designed in Wales and manufactured in Yorkshire, so not only does it look gorgeous, it is a 100% British product, delivering British jobs.”

From a sustainability viewpoint, Sky Wave has ensured low road miles by not importing bottles from abroad, which impacts on air pollution and fuel costs. They also designed their bottle to be specifically lightweight at 650 grammes, so using less precious raw materials in production and costing less to transport.
